DHPA welcomes Iowa Digestive Disease Center (IDDC) as the first independent GI practice to join from the state of Iowa.
The group is comprised of nine board certified gastroenterologists and four Nurse Practitioners. IDDC provides care for patients in serving Des Moines and Central IOWA. The group also provides coverage for five local hospitals with consultative support and hospital-based procedures.
Its Centers of Excellence are designed to provide specialized care for patients using both sophisticated equipment and advanced medical procedures to diagnose and treat more complicated digestive disorders. The Centers of Excellence include Advanced Therapeutics, Iowa Endoscopy Center, Iowa Digestive Disease Center – Infusion, Iowa Liver Center and the Inflammatory Bowel disease Center.
With the addition of IDDC, DHPA’s member practices span 37 states and include more than 2,000 physicians who provide high quality, cost efficient care for patients and communities in the independent GI medical practice setting.
