Richmond Gastroenterology Associates (Richmond, VA)

You can be sure you will receive expert gastroenterology care by one of our 16 highly trained physicians.  Our physicians are also referred to as Gastroenterologists.  Gastroenterologists complete four years of medical school and three years of Internal Medicine residency, followed by fellowship training in Gastroenterology.  During fellowship training, Gastroenterologists learn endoscopy by performing hundreds of procedures under supervision.  After 3 years of subspecialty training they are then eligible to take the Gastroenterology board certification test administered by the American Board of Internal Medicine.  Once they have successfully completed this examination, they are “Board Certified Gastroenterologists.” Read More >>
